Google Wave is what is called, “Email is so Last Century,” communication tool that introduces a new form of Email and Instant Messaging inside your browser. If you have not heard of Google Wave, well, that could be because Google Wave is an “Invite Only” service that Google Hopes to introduce to the public soon. If you can’t wait, you can request a Google Wave Invite Here by filling out their quick and easy form. According to Marketing Pilgrim, Google is working on a application called “Waveboard” that is a desktop version of the browser client. Currently, Google Wave is a Web App on the iPhone, but does lack features a Instant Messaging Client iPhone App would offer on the iPhone than the Wave Web App. According to Mashable, Google is coding an iPhone Application to be out in the App Store soon. Currently, the “Waveboard” is for download for your Mac, but is in the beta stages (which means very buggy). What else should we see from Google Wave and what can it mean for the future of the Web?
