Torrenting some files is not legal.

However, if you must torrent, don’t sell your torrents to other people.

This article will basically describe how to find the best torrents.

The Pirate Bay.org

The Pirate Bay.org

If your new to torrenting, this is what you need to know:

You need a torrent downloader, to download the torrents, you may go to sites like bitjunkie.org or thepiratebay.org (my favorite) and then you can browse various files, and try to find what your download you are looking for.

Once you find what your looking for, Download the Torrent.

When your torrent has downloaded from your browser (their usually only 500kb or so, depending on the file), you must download the actual file. Yes, you thought that the little file that downloaded in 10 seconds was the file, it wasn’t. I made the same mistake, it is just the link for the link for the torrent Client.

To download the file, you need a torrent downloader or client. One of the most popular is BitTorrent or Utorrent. Personally I don’t like it because it only allows you to download your saved torrents, and not browse for torrent files,, but I’ll get to that later. My personal favorite is Vuze, it has a great interface (GUI) and is easy to use.

I am going to guide you through the Vuze Client:

Once you have downloaded Vuze, you need to open the torrent (The Small File you downloaded in your Browser. Usually it will just open automatically in your Torrent Client by double clicking.) that you downloaded.

Find the file/link on your computer and open it. It will start downloading, time may vary depending on your internet speed.

Vuze is a really great torrent downloader because it allows you to download torrents right from the application, just enter something into the search box and it will search common torrent sites for the file.

Okay so now that we have all the files displayed, we need to choose one, this is what the article is about. You don’t want to spend hours downloading a file that is fake, so here’s what you should do.

First, pick a file that has a good title:

It should have the name of the movie of file you want, since we are doing a movie, I’m going to show you how to do that.

So far, all of these are good candidates, because they all have a the movie title.

Next you should look to see whether it is a DVD Rip, you can tell if the title has DVDRIP, DvdRip, DVDRip, DvdRIP, etc.

Another good thing to do, is look for Xvid, these usually are .avi files, but obviously can be converted.

The next thing to do, is to compare files.

Look for files of similar sizes,

You may find,

District 9 (2009) ripped Xvid-Max   [visit randomsite.com for more torrents now!!!]              701 Mb

District 9 (2009) dvdrip Xvid-Max  [randomsite.com Torrents!!!]                                                 701 Mb

District 9 (2009) DVDRIPPPPP Xvid-Max [Noobinator]                                                                701 Mb

District 9 (2009) DvDRip Xvid-Max                                                                                                      300 Mb

So right now, you might be thinking, ‘Oh okay, well im going to choose the one that has no “advertising”‘

That’s usually the best option, but if we look at the file sizes, we see that that one is vastly different from the others, not a good sign.

(In this case, I would choose ””District 9 (2009) DVDRIPPPPP Xvid-Max [Noobinator]””)

So once you pick a file, based on it’s title, you need to find out more information.

Click on the file you want, and it will show your the website it comes from.

Once you decide if the file is good or not, click download at the top of the screen.

Once it downloads, you may watch it via the Vuze application, or you can find it on your computer, and play it using VLC or another media player.

If you load movies, and VLC, onto a memory stick (flash drive), you can watch them wherever.
