How To: Get a Battery Percent on your iPhone/iPod Touch
The Battery Percent can me a cool feature, but Apple only made it for the iPhone 3GS which is kind of stupid on thier part…
How to do it on a iPhone 3GS (No Jailbreaking required)
Go to: Settings>General>Usage
Turn on Battery Percentage! Thats it!
How to get it on other devices (Requires Jailbreaking)
There are two ways to do this…
First Way:
Using SBsettings, you get the Battery Percent with no problems…
SBsettings is a Big Boss Source (Should already be in Cydia) and search SBsettings. Scroll to S and touch SBsettings and install. ONce you have SBsettings installed, swipe your finger across the top of the screen. The SBsettings should appear. Tap More under that Menu! You will be brought to a menu page where you can change the settings for SBsettings. Touch Numeric Battery. SBsettings is also a great jailbreak app to have anyway! One of our favorite ones and can be customized to your theme if the theme allows!
Second Way:
The second alternative is Supreme Preferences which is a theme for your settings on the iPhone/iPod Touch. This way is a ModMyi Source so check out the Repo/Sources Page for more info on that source. Winterboard will also need to be installed! After adding the source and installing winterboard, go into Cydia (Or any other installer you use) and search Supreme Preferences and install that. Open winterboard and make sure it is selected. Let your device respring (May take some time)
To enable it:
Go into: Settings>Supreme Prefrences>Numerical Precentage…
Both of these ways work (I tried them) and I would reccomend SBsettings.
Thanks to Ty’s iPhone Help.com for the tip!
