The big question that everyone has been asking now-a-days, is how can I get emoji on the 3.0 firmware or higher? Well all thought that it was impossible, until now. Just to make sure you know what emoji is, it’s a thing that allows you to switch your iPhone’s keyboard, allowing you to type with little smiley guys, and all other cool things! (only visible on iDevice’s.)
But, Apple did not really like the whole emojicons thing, and ever since the 3.x firmware, they have figured away to disable the emoji toggles. When you go to settings, you will notice you cannot find the the toggle for diffrent keyboards, and that was where you had to go, to enable emoji. Well anyway, there is a way, and here is how! YOUR DEVICE MUST BE JAILBROKEN TO DO THE FOLLOWING!
1. Open up Cydia, and search: Extended Prefrences.
2. When you see it, tap it, and install it.
3. Once installed, open WinterBoard, and tap on Extended Prefrences, & wait for your device to respring.
4. Once done, open the Settings app, and go to General>Keyboards and turn emoji on.
5. Find the keyboards, go to international>Japanese, and turn EMOJI on.
6. Enjoy it!
